The Northern Kentucky Quail Forever Chapter will be sponsoring our third annual kids upland hunt. This will be a chance for kids ages 12-17 with little to no hunting experience to hunt released birds. Trap shooting experience would be a plus but is not required. Due to time and resources, this event will be limited to twelve kids only.

Application deadline is Saturday March 11^th  , 2017.

Applications will be accepted by email, mail or phone. The participants will be selected by random draw from all that apply. Winners will be notified by March 18, 2017.  Birds, dogs, guides, guns, and shells will be provided.

Each hunter will undergo a short safety seminar prior to hunting.

There will be a Quail Forever mentor accompanying each hunter.

Hunters will be encouraged to help clean their own birds, and take home what they shoot.

Parents can follow and watch, but may not carry a gun.

Each hunter must have a valid State Hunter Education Card

Each hunter will need a hunting license

Each hunter will need a waiver signed by a parent

$30 bird fee per hunter (payment due only if drawn to hunt)

The big event will be held on Friday May 13^th, 2016 at Receptions Banquet Hall located at the address 1379 Donaldson Hwy Erlanger, KY.  The doors will open at 6 p.m. for games and socialization with dinner being served at 7:30 p.m.  Please arrive punctually to ensure your opportunity to take part in the games and to preview auction items and prizes. This year includes OPEN BAR for Beer, Wine & Well Liquor.

We are once again pre-selling banquet tickets.  All orders to get in through the door need to be received by May 6^th.  We will not be selling tickets after the May 6^th deadline!  This will only be for tickets to get into the banquet.  Tickets will not be mailed to you, but you will be signed in at the door of the hall.  We will still have game tickets available at the banquet.  You may also contact a committee member to purchase banquet and 10 gun raffle tickets.

This year we will have 35 guns plus Live Auction, Silent Auction, & Raffle items available to win. Included in this is a game that includes a Gun Safe with 7 guns, winner takes all; the tickets are $50 a piece and there are only 200 chances total. We believe this game will sell out before the banquet, so please contact a committee member if you are interested.

2016 Quail banquet letter- A

Due to time and resources, this event will be limited to twelve hunters only.
